BALI Arts Festival (BAF) is a joyful arena to show off some traditional Balinese arts. It’s the festival for people to see their heritage arts having been preserved from extinction. On the other hand, it is also a familiar venue to introduce new creation arts composed by young creative artists.
One of the new creations was presented by the art envoy of the Badung County in the opening parade of the BAF 2015 inaugurated by Minister of Tourism, Arief Yahya, Saturday (Jun. 13). Creatively, the team combines tifa, a traditional music instrument of East Indonesia, with Balinese traditional music instrument as well as modern drum.
Coming with relaxing rhythm, the music composed accompanied approximately four pairs of dancers (male and f emale) dancing beautifully by swaying their head alternately. While smiling, they are dancing happily and mutually rotate on the way leading to the honorary stage.
As a result, more and more spectators wanted to approach in order to have a closer look at the beautiful dance and music. Indeed, no one will miss this opportunity to see and hear the dynamic, relaxing and entertaining show.
This year, the presentation of the art parade is quite different from the previous years. In the past, the display of each participant was only made in front of the honorary stage. Meanwhile, the spectators standing away from the stage could only watch the parade without attraction.
