After the fire, this market has been rebuilt with new design of architecture and managed with modern administration. Besides, across the river sits the Kumbasari Market featuring souvenir products and restaurants.

Bali Museum

This is a museum that showcases the history and culture of Bali from prehistoric times to the present day. The museum is located next to the Jagatnatha Temple and is open from 8 am to 3 pm on weekdays and from 8 am to 1 pm on weekends.

Jagatnatha Temple

This is a Hindu temple dedicated to the supreme God or Sanghyang Widi Wasa. The temple is located in the heart of Denpasar city and is often visited by Hindus who want to pray and put offerings. The temple has a unique architecture with a towering white padmasana (lotus throne) as its main shrine. The temple also hosts various religious ceremonies and festivals throughout the year.

Bali Art Center

As an art center, it features a complex of buildings like Ardha Candra open stage, Ksiraarnawa Building, museum showcasing various masks of Balinese art performance like barong, Rangda etc, kriya building that host painting exhibition and some small open stages. This complex host annual Bali Arts Festival having been held since 1978. This center hosts an art extravaganza from all over Bali. Held for almost a month (mid-June-mid July).

Bajra Sandhi Monument

This is a monument that commemorates the struggles and sacrifices of the Balinese people in fighting for their independence from colonialism. The monument is shaped like a bell and has 17 main gates, 8 pillars, and 45 stairs that symbolize the date of Indonesia’s independence on August 17, 1945. Inside the monument, there are various dioramas that depict the history of Bali from ancient times to modern times. The monument is located in Renon Square and is open from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 6 pm on weekends.
