DENPASAR Festival 2023 (Denfest) was officially opened on Friday (Dec 22) in the Catur Muka area or in the heart of the Denpasar City. Almost after midday, city residents and tourists have gathered and waited very enthusiastically around the venue such as the Catur Muka, Puputan Badung Square and in front of the Bali Museum.
This yearend festival of Denpasar was opened with an inauguration by involving 1,648 artists and continued with music and cultural performances supported by 24 music groups and 17 cultural performances as well as 178 superior MSMEs which has passed the curation phase.
One of the new innovative and creative works of art is the Rejang Napak Siti Dance supported by a total of 1,200 young mothers. It is composed by the Natya Swari Studio. Right after the warrior dance made its performance, the group of women performed this rejang dance around the Catur Muka Statue. Coming in a white costume with black and white checkered cloth and a scarf (in three colors – red, black and white) that says DENPASAR, it looked so lovely with its lovely and gentle movement,

Visitors to the Denpasar Festival will have the opportunity to explore various kinds of product made by MSMEs of Denpasar City. There is Swarnakara Fashion Show on December 23-24, 2023 at Lobby Courtyard of Inna Bali Heritage Hotel at 18:00 Local Time. Traditional and favorite food and beverage are on offer during the festival.
Besides, this Denpasar Festival event also presented 24 musical groups and 17 cultural performances to entertain the visitors. Meanwhile, cultural performances that are no less interesting to visitors to Denfest 2023 are the Adi Merdangga ‘Ngerebeg’ Anak Siwer Nadhi Swara, Tabuh Kreasi Selonding ‘Ampal Kliyang’ Wesi Cwaram, Bebondresan Dadong Rerod, STI Bali, Codet, Ayu Maenah, and Ayu Petong.
