BEAUTIFUL hills among the green plantation areas of Central Bali on the Mengwi-Singaraja shortcut route is like a hidden secret waiting to be revealed. With every turn taken, this beautiful world introduces you to the amazing wonders of nature.

When you take a short break near the bridge of Wanagiri Village, you will see a Turyapada Tower under construction, towering on the hill nearby.

Driving along this trail is a mesmerizing journey, with stunning views of nature to the left and right that turn every corner into a living painting. You will pass through a stunning green valley, flanked by shady trees that flow along the road. Sunlight filtering through the trees gives color and life to every corner of this path.

The shortcut from Mengwi to Singaraja is now able to shorten the distance traveled on this route. By cutting winding roads and inclines in the Bedugul, Wanagiri and Gitgit areas, travel time is reduced by around 20-30 minutes. Well, this will certainly be very good for tourists who want to travel to the North Bali area and local people from south Bali to north Bali and vice versa.

Apart from the wider road, the terrain elevation of the road is also more sloping. What is no less interesting is the view presented when passing this shortcut. There are several points that can be used as resting places. Moreover, a rest area is provided.

If you stop near the Wanagiri Village bridge during clear weather, you will see an interesting view in the form of the Turyapada Tower which is located in Pegayaman Village.

As quoted from the Hutama Karya page, this tower is designed to be the first iconic tower in Indonesia and a world-class tourism attraction. The top of the tower will have multi-purpose functions, such as supporting digital television broadcast transmitters, cellular telecommunications and the internet. Then the body will be used as an educational vehicle in the form of a planetarium, skywalk, 360 degree rotating restaurant and glass bridge. This will be the first monumental tower in Indonesia, which is on a par with the Eiffel Tower, Tokyo Tower, Toronto Tower and Macau Tower.

The Turyapada Tower was built with a building height of 115 meters at a height of 1,521 meters above sea level. Overall, this tower has a height of 1,636 meters above sea level.

It is hoped that the Turyapada Tower will become a new integrated tourist destination in Bali with a green building concept and reflects the harmonious relationship between nature and Balinese culture. In the future, the Turyapada Tower will have 6 utilization zones, namely educational zone, communal zone, commercial zone (MSMEs), recreational zone, management zone and plantation zone.

So, the Turyapada Tower will later become an additional new tourist destination on the Mengwi-Singaraja tourist route.
