Bajra Sandhi Monument
This is a monument that commemorates the struggles and sacrifices of the Balinese people in fighting for their independence from colonialism. The monument is shaped like a bell and has 17 main gates, 8 pillars, and 45 stairs that symbolize the date of Indonesia’s independence on August 17, 1945. Inside the monument, there are various dioramas that depict the history of Bali from ancient times to modern times. The monument is located in Renon Square and is open from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 6 pm on weekends.
